Re: Help:: : Eisenhour Dollar Question

Some of the 71S-74Ss are silver clad.
Some of the Bicentenials are silver clad.
NWS, you can't lose, unless in your country US coins are traded at a discount; otherwise, go for it!

I don't know anything about these but I have the opportunity to buy 50 of them for 50bucks, was told they are just "normal" silver dollars. Should I pick them up and if so, why?

Appreciate the info.

If they were "Normal Silver Dollars" he would be asking around 5 - 6 dollars a piece. I have only found one silver Ike in the wild. Doesn't hurt to look before you buy though, you just never know
but other people don't know..... :laughing7:

Re: Help:: : Eisenhower Dollar Question

Eisenhower dollars have been replaced with the smaller format dollars, so I doubt any banks still have them available. When they come in, the banks send them on to the Federal Reserve. You can readily get the SBA, Sac, and President dollar coins though. Few of the above in circulation are worth >$1.

Re: Help:: : Eisenhour Dollar Question

Both banks here in town still have the Eisenhower dollars in the vault, just have to ask.
