No, it's not a D (too bad)

But it is in real nice condition for a dug coin.....

My question is this.....

It seems to have a double rim at 4:00 o'clock on the obverse, and again on the reverse. Is this unusual, or perhaps a mint error? I don't know, just asking :dontknow:

I think what you see there is called a "partial collar strike". Errors are not a real strong point for me.

I'd place more value in the higher grade of that coin for that year than what may be a minor error. But that is only my opinion. :icon_thumright:

From what I can tell its an early strike. Almost FSB close to AU but a strong EF little rim ding on the Rev. But still a keeper in my book. Nice find now go find a 21 to match it
