Beautiful coins. Thanks for sharing. What is your set-up for taking such beautiful photos? And do you retouch them with software?

The 81 S has to be one of my favorite Morgans to collect. I have a few myself. They are very well struck and available in high grades. Many will have the DMPL surfaces. If you want a challenge, try and find New Orleans mint Morgans with DMPL surfaces. New Orleans are known for the lack of quality control and not being well-struck. So to find high grade O mints no less with DMPL surfaces can be a challenge.

Thanks! I use a Nikon D5000 with a 150mm Sigma macro lens and a Beseler copy stand. I then edit the photos into my template. :)

I love 81-S's as well. I'm thinking about picking one up in 67 at some point.

Stupid question, but what is the Toning/Tone quality of coins, thing?

It's essentially a euphemism for tarnish. Just like real silverware tarnishes, so do old coins. But when the toning is pretty, it can command huge premiums. I sold a coin that would have been worth abut $60 white for $1600 because of the gorgeous color on it. Here's that coin: ;D
