i have 6 dates left to fill in for a complete philly mint set , some of these coins are mint fresh to very well worn so far all i can find is values for completed sets for the three mints not just one , any ideas for approx value for a one mint completed set ?
Hard to say bc I can't see the coins you have. I wouldn't expect much though. Do you have the 55 DDO? Philly mint has made billions and billions of wheaties. Can you post us some pics?
Completed sets won't mean as much to potential buyers. Most will buy only to cherrypick and upgrade their own collection. The rest will only be popped out of their books to be sold as group lots. If you want to maximize the value then sell the mint condition/high grade ones individually and sell the rest as a mixed lot. Ditch the book.
not to worried about mint state coins i am putting two sets together for my kids, as i am sure 20-30 yrs down the road most people will not know what a wheat cent is let alone other history of the of the us coins , i will get some pics
I love to help people learn about the coins they find or collect.

Re: wheats
As posted before me, a P mint set doesn't carry a lot of value, and problem coins hurt them even more. It's difficult to give a value based on the information and image alone.

thanks for trying, i will be happy to just have two complete date sets with or with out all mints 1909-1958 for the kids when they get older
I see the "s" between the 1 and 9. I have never even heard of this type of error in that location, so my best guess is an imperfection in the alloy which coincidentally looks a lot like a ghost mint mark. Or you have a million dollar coin.
