Nickel errors?

Got these 2 yesterday while going through a box of nickels, any ideas? Sorry the pics are kinda crappy


This one is weird, the word "Trust" is a weak strike it hasn't been grounded off. The rest looks like it went through a sander but if you look closely it follows the hairline perfectly. There isn't 1 scratch on Jeffersons face, could something at the mint cause this.

First one looks like it was used for target practice by a bb gun. The second one is post-mint damage by some kind of grinder.
