Hello,
I have this Lincoln 1909-s VDB coin I dug many years ago. I have to find it to post a picture. Coin is in great shape. I would say at least EF condition. Where the S is located under the date,it has scratches over it. When using a magnifying glass,I can barely make out an S shape. VDB on back is in great condition.
Would anyone one know if there would be any value to this coin ?

Thanks,
GCM

If it's genuine, it's valuable in any condition. It's commonly counterfeited though, so it's worth getting authenticated by a third party grader. They've been counterfeited for long enough and often enough that I wouldn't be surprised if somebody actually dug a fake.

It may even be scratched in the "S" area to disguise a put on mint mark.
