Post this in the CRH forum. Did you try any other denominations?
1/100 of an American dollar is a cent. It is NOT a penny. The word penny is used by several other countries, such as Great Britain, to denote their smallest denomination. In order to be numismatically correct, you must use the term cent to describe the American coin.

Ok, sorry thought this was the "coin" forum...I ran out of dollars...just Googled the value and smacked my head...
This is the "coins" forum, but it is what CRHers enjoy seeing, so it is good to post there. In this forum, collections should be posted or questions about value of coins. Does the machine accept dimes or halves, too?

Only gave quarters for $1 & $5... I don't think it even had a coin slot to accept coins...
Take $50 is ones and quickly drive to that machine.

No luck today...wah wah. Talked to owner,; some local guy owns the machine, he is gonna tell him next he comes for a refill. Ended up splitting them with my brother in law( that's where the dollar bills came from), not bad though, all in all.
