How could I obtain a Morgan Dollar?

Is there a way that I can obtain a Morgan Dollar other then paying full price for one via ebay or a coin store? If I crh $1 coins could I find one or are they all golden dollars? Thanks for any input.

Try Craigslist or even garage sales. Anything that allows you to negotiate price may allow you to get it for a better deal. Also you can CRH until you find enough "product" to trade up!

Ask for big dollar coins, and one in about 1000 banks might have one for face value.

Or buy one for 25 bucks from somone.

Morgans aren't that expensive. You can find one in CRH but its about a 1 in 10,000 shot. Just about EVERYONE knows a Morgan is worth more than $1 so few are going to cash it in for face value and even fewer tellers are going to let you buy it. You could try garage sales and estate sales/auctions I suppose, but in general Morgans there are going to go way over what you can buy at a coin shop (the past few auctions I've been to even common circulated Morgans are going for $35).
