I believe so! If "LIBERTY" is weak and the tail of the upper (inner) loop of the "9" in the Date points towards the middle of the "7" in the Date, then it is a "Small Date" Variety. If "LIBERTY" is strong and not weak and the tail of the upper (inner) loop of the "9" in the Date points towards the top of the "S" Mint mark, then it is a "Large Date" Variety.
