I bought some goodies the last few weeks, and started putting together a US type set!

There are a few more coins on the way: 1909 vdb, 1859 fatty indian head, franklin half, 64 silver kennedy half, 3 cent silver dime, and a shield nickel

Anyway here's the stuff I got recently. The album is an Intercept Shield, and it's my first one. I can't recommend it enough.

No gold!? Lol...

Hey, can you post a closeup of that Columbian exposition half? Is it cleaned, or just THAT nice?

have fun...I have U.S. type sets all the way back to Capped Bust...(no gold, not yet anyway)...It is a lot of fun to figure out all the varieties that you need and which coin goes with which set! I put mine in the cardboard squares, in 20 pocket plastic pages, in three ring binders. Had to stop at Capped Bust...couldn't afford to go one more step back.

Sure thing, I will do that when I get home from work. I'm not sure if it was cleaned in the past or not, I got it as a gift when I was young.

Nice work!
Those early Date/Types make it hard to amass a complete set.
Keep up the good work.

some of my favorite coins are the ones I got from my great grandfather that are almost worn smooth...the value is in the connection.
