I was looking through my change and found this. Sorry about the pictures, taking a descent photo was proving to be difficult with my iPhone. Looks to be doubling on the date, mint mark, and also Lincoln's head.

Hopefully when you flip the coin over to view the Reverse, you will find that the "A" and "M" in "AMERICA" are close together! If so, then you have a 1992-D "Close AM" Lincoln Cent that is worth a lot of Pennies. If not, then it was still worth the look to see!

I really can't tell from that pic. Can you post a better close-up pic that is more in-focus and just of "America" and including the right side of the Memorial Building including the "FG" Designer's Initials? If it is a "Close AM" Variety, then it should look like the one at the link below ("A" and "M" in "AMERICA" close together with very little separation while the remaining letters show separation and the "FG" Designer's Initials will be further away from the Memorial Building).

It is expected that a 1992-D "Close AM" Lincoln Cent Variety specimen will have a little bit of a gap between the "A" and "M" in "AMERICA" or none at all. If the gap between the two letters is less than the gap between the other letters in "AMERICA", then it may be a "Close AM" Variety. If you can't get a clear close up to post, then I would suggest comparing the letters on the Reverse of your' coin with the same on a 1994, 1995 or 1996 Dated Lincoln Cent to see if your' 1992-D Lincoln Cent's Reverse is different from them. Note: I did not recommend the 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 Dated Lincoln Cents as there are some 1998-P, 1999-P and 2000-P Lincoln Cents with the "AM" close in "AMERICA" and reportedly a 1997-P was found some time ago but not set in for authentication. These are also "Close AM" Variety Cents and there is always a possibility that you might have one of these and be comparing one "Close AM" Variety Cent to another "Close AM" Variety Cent. This would only be an option, if you had a "Close AM" Variety Cent from one of these dates and knew that you were comparing your' 1992-D Lincoln Cent's Reverse to it's Reverse.

Buy yourself a loupe (Amazon.com: SE - Loupe - Doublet, Chrome Plated, Round Body, 30x-21mm - MJ361830C: Home Improvement) and hold the loupe against the lens of the camera on your phone. It's like having a macro function for your camera. I can sometimes get better pictures using my phone's camera than my $800+ DSLR camera using this approach. As an added benefit, the loupe can be used by you to get a better look at what you are seeing on your coins.
