I picked up a new commemorative yesterday at the South Dakota state coin show I thought you might like to see. Jim DSCF6916.JPG DSCF6917.JPG DSCF6918.JPG

Nice specimen. It is one that I hope to add to my collection someday. The Old Spanish Trail begins/ends in St. Augustine and the original marker (a coquina sphere) can be seen alongside the Visitor's Center. Most people never see it, and those that do think it is some sort of garden art. It was moved in the early part of the twentieth century, and it was originally located further north up San Marco Avenue at what is now a sub shop (Barillo's) which was an old converted service station.
