Sorry, yes my husband found it while metal detecting. I have found similar coins on the internet but not an exact match. Would also like to know its value.. Thanks in advance

It appears to be a 1/2 Real Mexican coin, dated 1782 (?) during the reign of Charles III; composed of 0.903 pure silver. IF in VG condition, it would be worth about $10.

Looks to be Very Fine to my eyes-- I would think that would bring the value at least up to the $25 to $30 range
