I should have clarified a bit more.
Not interested in an eBay bid. Just inquiring as to a general purchase price at a local coin dealer.
Found a nice one this day, but the dealer would accept nothing less than "Redbook" price, which is highly elevated.

You can use the Ebay successful bid (if it's lower than what you have been quoted by your LCD) as leverage with him for a better price since the Ebay bid will represent present value versus historic value as shown in the Redbook.

asking price for a 1876 indian in XF condition bid is $160 and asking is $175 this price is from the grey sheet the COIN DEALER and there is a dealer here in Ohio that gose by the bid and there is time he dose a better price. I use the grey sheet to help me when I am buying coins
