Always a possibility but your chances increase the closer to New England States you live. Lots have been found in the U.S. Never think it can't happen.

It has happened before. I can think of a few people who have found them from the top of my head, BILL D. (va), HomeGuardDan, Oxbowbarefoot, and BB-in-Maine. All in very early settled areas when English Hammered silver coins were in use. Areas that were settled in the 1600s are your best bet, if you're looking for them! ;) HH

You'll have to do some research and find the oldest settlements in the state....it was considered part of New France during the late 1600 hundred so yeah you might have a chance.
