What Happened to This Poor Barber Dime?

I found this barber dime today. It is my first barber I have ever found.

The back is completely covered in what looks like bubbles. As you can see from picture 3 this dime is bent something serous. The front of this dime is also bubbled looking. I thought this was an aluminum token when I pulled it out, but I saw the head and "one dime on the back.

Any idea what happened to this poor barber dime?

Most likely it was in a fire. Was there a house there at one time?

Too bad about the condition but still a nice

the house that I found it at is still standing. Someone I asked also said it could have been in a fire.

Probably got thrown out on the burn pile with other trash. I find burnt coins quite often.
