Strange,
Strange because it has your typical doubled column which is obviously vertical.
Yet this has a tilted doubled knee cap.
On coppercoins, its closest to DDR-007 and 017 if I remember correctly.
It doesn't match either of them.
So how can this happen ?
I can understand that the process of creating the Die itself can pause and misalignment by the die setter causes the hub separation, thus creating the Doubled die ?
That's my understanding.
Having a second doubled device that is rotated suggests that the creation of that particular anvil die, stopped not once, but twice.
Misaligned twice during hubbing ?
I'm still learning by only reading!
Please forgive me if I made technical description errors.
I know that many say that they need full pics and I have a rant all about that!
Now, with the potential of having "Discovery Piece" added to a slab, makes obscuring that information pertinent.
Those true sniper eyed folks like I hope to be, will probably know what date it is anyway just by the design elements.
So is my somewhat educated guess accurate? or please teach me something new!
