While coin roll hunting fifty cent pieces, I found this Swedish 5 Kr coin. Have had no luck finding the value. Should I keep it, or trade it back in at the bank on my next batch? 72a.jpg

I'm thinking it is worth 5 Krona...but seriously 6.01 Swedish Krona = 1 U.S. Dollar

I'd keep it...I love foreign coins.

I was just in Sweden a few months ago, and these coins are quite common, and still in circulation. I brought some home with me, only because I didn't spend them, and some of them date from anywhere from the 60's right up to the 2000's. Quite common i'm afraid.

The exchange varies.. but a common value seems to be 7 kronor to 1 us dollar.

A close call! If it would have been a year older (1971) it would have been 40% Silver! :tongue3:
And 1973 5 kronor is rare, though the 72 is common. :-\

Groovedymond: This design is not so often found in circulation there is a more modern design on most.
