After reading peoples finds and wondering how you actually find stuff in them, it finally happened to to this blind squirrel. Not much by any means but I'll take it.
I walked by a Coinstar tonight and saw a Mexican 50c coin on the ground in front of the machine and thought this might be a good omen.

Sure enough when I lifted the interior reject cover I saw a coin. When I picked it up I saw it was a US "6" cent piece obviously rescued from the cup holder. It was a 1995 nickel stuck to a shield cent, obv. and rev. respectively.

No silver but it's a start.:laughing7:

Guess I'll soak them apart to make sure they aren't a DDO or DDR! :dontknow:
Here's the image in case you're curious and thanks for looking. PP55/Cliff

Thanks VP. Quite few pieces you've come across in 5(?) years. Lots of Canadians and a pair of steelies. Nice.
..... Any varieties on those Lincolns? DDO, DDR or RPM? (None on mine. :crybaby2:)

Immy, I've never used a Coinstar but what I refer to as the interior reject cover is on the top of the machine. Round plastic piece that folds up out of the way. There seems to be an area under that plastic piece that collects the rejects. I'll try to remember to get a pick of it next time I'm at Publix.
