Magician & the Parrot
There was this magician who took a job on a cruise ship, doing several shows daily. He followed an act that had this parrot that did tricks, as the magician went on they put the parrot on his perch just off stage out of site of the audience. Every time he did a trick the parrot would say "bauck.......its up his sleave!", "bauck........its in his hat!" etc. The magician was so upset, ready to ring his neck in front of hundereds of people, at that moment the ship hit a large iceberg & sank. In the commotion the magician & parrot ended up alone together in a liferaft, they bobbed on the ocean in total silence, glaring intently at each other. After 3 days the parrot finally said "bauck.......I give up. What'd you do with the ship?"
