Same guy got leave from Marines boot camp. Yeah, they get the soldiers physically fit. Back up a minute. I heard a story that he had gotten into a fight with the bouncers at a local bar. Took five guys. One hit him with a pool cue over the head with the handle end, broke the cue. So he got two pool cues and hit him again. This time it slowed him down enough the five bouncers held him down til the cops got there. The Marines came and got him and took him back.
So you hear these stories and go "Sure!". Well, it was two weeks later we were at that bar and I noticed a bouncer had a black eye. Then I saw another bouncer with two black eyes, then another. Can't remember now how many i counted but it was two weeks later. Holy smoke! It was true! Probably a good thing he was insanely drunk.
