What is it with thieves, cops and Doughnuts ?

TOLEDO, Iowa (AP) -- A bevy of officers chased a doughnut delivery van at speeds up to 100 mph before arresting the driver at gunpoint, authorities said.

They were rewarded for their efforts - the doughnut shop gave them the purloined goodies.

If I was going to steal something , the last thing it would be is a doughnut truck . The cops would
never let that one get away . :)

:D :coffee2: I think part of the problem is the shape of the pastry -
It fits nicely on a night stick, it is round and tasty.

An Officer can load the night stick sufficiently to get through an entire shift!

If a perp needs severely beat about the head and shoulders the stick can be quickly slipped free of all doughnuts then easily slipped back in the remaining ones for later consumption.

Perps like them, they are tasty and have been known to be a social distraction when shared with victims.

:lurk: :whip2:
