I have lots of banks around that I can get bags off machines from. Pretty easily 1 per day and more if I tried. I've been surprised with the number of 2009d I've been coming up with. I've got 13 rolls of them right now. I have a hard time finding 2009p though with only about 10 coins so far. Just about to start the bag I picked up today.

May has started out good so far!

Took off work early for a dentist appointment yesterday and did some bank hopping. The first 5 banks only gave a couple dollars in clad. Bank 5 had $128 in halves from the machine. The teller had to hand count them and I could see the silver already. Gave up 5 1967 and 1 1986 gold plated. Stopped by 4 more banks and only found $10 in halves, clad. Picked up a box of nickels at my last stop and it was the worst I've had in a while. Still happy with the day!

Five 40% from just $128 is a great start for the month. I had a pretty good start this month too - yesterday I found 3 silver halves and I got another half box today so Im hoping for a little something more on day two.

Picked up a bag yesterday after work. After searching about 200 coins I had a bad feeling that I was getting someone's dumps. Results were better than I had expected, but still not good.

Took the weekend off and organized my pre-60 nickels I've saved up. Waiting on my Paypal account to get confirmed and am planning on selling some. I've got about 16 rolls of 2009d and may try to sell some assorted pre-60 rolls.

Found my 1939d!

Picked up 2 boxes Wednesday and finished searching them last night. Nothing great except for finding my first 39d. I've searched $700 nickels so far this month with only 3 silver. Hopefully I'll score something soon to get my average back up.

Congrats on the '39D. Ive been searching nics for over 4 years and I don't recall ever finding a '39D myself. Finding an occasional '39S is about the best I can seem to do with the semi key dates. Btw, I didn't notice at first but I have a '86 gold plated half with the same counter stamped dates and Lincoln face just like the coin u found last week. Im not sure how common those are but I know they don't have any value - but u never know with ebay lol. I just kept mine as a novelty coin.

I got a box of nickels myself on the way home from work today. Hope I can find a little something from it this wknd.

Had another slow week this week, but Friday I made my usual bi-weekly 8 bank run and came up with a few finds. Teller called from my dump bank Wednesday and said she had $62 Ikes and asked if I wanted them, of course I said yes. Got there and got the Ikes plus $6 loose halves. All clad. Did find 1 type-1 1976 Ike though. Next bank I picked up a box of halves I ordered, 1 40%er in it. Next bank had $300 halves, with the only silver being the '66 ender. Next bank actually had a full box of halves. I only took $1k not planning on finding that many halves. I picked up $200 and headed towards the dump bank. Dropped that $1k and went back for the other $300. Found the '64 in that box. The next 4 banks gave up CWR of $10 quarters, $25 dimes, $12 nickels, and $2 cents. All skunks. Also picked up $13 more in Ikes. Picked up a box of dimes at the last bank and found the '51 Rosie and my weekly 2 boxes of nickels gave up and 43s. Also found 2 rolls of SBAs, a 1950 $5 and 1977 $20.

Pretty good bag yesterday! Bag also gave up a 38 and 38s and several 39's. I was wanting another silver or 2 to help the average, but proofs are ok too!

Finally got to spend a few days away from the house over Memorial Day weekend. Been a busy week since we got back. Picked up a box Wednesday and a bag of nickels yesterday. Finished the box and working on the bag.

i have done two boxes of nickels. In the first one I got nothing in the second one i got two buffs 1936 and 1927 one was XF. still havent gotten a war nickel
