There are pros and cons to both running disc using Deus and running 0 disc.
I will try to show with pics in coming days. With commentary.

And also will comment on Deus meter readings, and how they can reflect your actual skill using Deus in old sites searching for any and all nonferrous.

Some folks will I think find this interesting.

So stay tuned.

I have a very tough site dates 1880s , the land was camped on as the RR was moving through . They worked and fabricated on the spot so tons of melted lead / iron / RR spikes . Then there was a house at some point then a massive plowed garden that turned everything around and ruined most of the things I do find . The ATP did very poorly here so I bought the deus .

Finds did go up but still very hard to find targets .Started in 3 tone then to 5 tone and have stuck with pitch . I can turn in circles detecting til I find the right spot on a good target through all the junk digging up nails broken glass old pottery in every hole . I can go for a week over the same area and still make a find but it takes a week or so to dial in on one good target . There is so much junk to sift through it is almost impossible to hunt in tone .
