I didn't catch where he was from, but GPS is satellite and has 0 to do with bare patches on the ground. BTW, from the size of that bare spot he must've dug up a pot belly stove.

I heard that the federal government is banning metal detecting in the US. The law goes into effect next year on February 30th.

Yes on the Brit. His Detecting school videos for the Deus are top notch of learning. So I guess from not owning on the machines this guy isn't in the know.

Had a good :laughing7: Oh how I wish I could be digging in that dirt again-sigh with heavy heart......

I actually Like their Laws, For them. The museums have to Buy at fair Market Value if they Want.

here, all the Museums need do is Cry Theft from under the ground ! then steal it themselves through legal action,

you can't afford to fight

His name is Gary Blackwell.. yes it was a joke for April 1...

Gary is one of the , if not the, best when it comes to the Deus.. He is brilliant in his presentations andvideos.

He has a set of videos that cover every aspect of the Deus

Micheal

The PAS works well it seems, a tad slow. But I guess the amount of finds that are reported overwhelm the system as well.
The simple fact the Arc's and detecting folks seem to have a little more respect for each other there, which seems to speak volumes compared to this side of the pond view point of each other.
