    Hookamax?

Any one ever use this unit and could tell me what you think? Hookamax e2005c-12v I just want to use it for the inner/outer banks area so I should stay in fairly shallow water.

    Re: Hookamax?

I have not used the Hookamax 12 volt system but have used other gas and electric systems. The 12 volt systems, or any electrical system for that matter are silent with no problems with exhaust gases getting into the air intake. The weight of the batteries and your presure tank mean this is needed to float on a boat which limits your freedom. I much prefer the gas units from Kneen Eng. or Air line by J Sink as these can be floated along with you. It is a sure way to have fun and beat the heat.

    Good Luck,
