Between top left corner of Okie's box and my last outline area, is another small site. Too bad we are not doing a search, for stone ballast piles from old sailing ships underwater! :coffee2:

The iron probably shows up in the archaeological search. I did an iron search on photos and got a hit close to stack of rocks (on left corner area a short distance up).

There was a lot of iron and oxidation right there. I think you detected that accurately. Thats where those iron pieces were if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, must be the metal identified in other photos (zoomed in maps?) earlier, as metallic, when sorting out the archaeological hits. But don't think you found anything in those, too small or oxidized.

When you say metallic not iron, is there a potential for precious metal? Anything metal right there would have to be deeper than 3 ft as I already scanned with my 58cm coil.

I was going to check more on size or metal type.

If you find iron, must be mostly what is there. The good target seems to be small and closer to left corner area of top edge photo #1. When I said small, meaning ring size or smaller (unless more than 1 target).

I used "good" loosely meaning probably not iron. I want to check again, make that signal is metallic.

Could try for old bottle dump, but that would be a big digging project.

There are people who collect bottles. Many of the good bottle dumps already have been looted. I only got 1 place which overlaps a spot marked before.
