I want to start a discussion about Power sluicing in California any experiences and regulations you've had to deal with.Anyone ever dug in Auburn rec area? I forget what I read the rules were there.I know you dont need a permit, and about settling ponds etc. but, what other things have you guys dealt with. Also what pump are you running? sluice? What do you wish you could do with your banker?

have not been to that area in a long time, i think i remember something about no motorised equipment at the confluence of the north and middle fork, but up river on the middle fork you can use a highbanker even a dredge in open areas
i remember forest circus is just off the road dropping down in the canyon and they have a lot of info regarding that stuff
