Well, all in all it's about .5 grams of fines and flakes with 1 little picker.

Here's my process. I bought 3 bags of cons over a 2month period for 19 bucks each. I knew there was no real chance of coming out ahead, but I enjoyed the practice and the advertised batch mentioned heavy black sands, which I needed practice with. So, here I go: :headbang:

The first thing I did was to pan out 1 large table spoon of cons per pan until it was all through, removing larger flakes and visibles. Then I took the cons and processed the whole thing through my bucket sluice concentrator, and got a ton of fines and a few more flakes I'd missed in panning. Lastly, after cleaning ou the bucket sluice, I repanned the 2 spoon fulls of cons remaining in the riffles -just to be sure. :BangHead:

Then....(yeah, I know).... I dried the cons, and went throught them with my Jobe magnet to separate the black sands. Call me weird, but I'm collecting it. :tard: I'm sure there's a little flour left in these cons, but w/o a blue bowl, it's not gonna happen. :angry5:

Here's a few pics. Now I need more Paydirt... :blob7:
