I am building a dredge and planning on using a 3 inch suction nozzle. Just have a couple of questions. I plan on using the 3 inch duromax water pump with 91 feet of head lift. Is this enough to operate a suction nozzle of 3inches? Also, should I go with the 3x2 inch suction nozzle or the 3x1.5 or does it matter? I just need to make sure the pressure is great enough to create the suction. Any help is appreciated!

Instead of having to get two long hoses for the suction nozzle , unless you already have it, consider a venturi jet, may be cheaper than buying the extra 15-20ft of 2" hose. As strickman said he runs a 2 inch off the outlet of the pump that will be ok. If you use a venturi jet see what size the pressure hose fitting is they may only be 1.5" not sure what sizes they come in. the 1.5 may give you a little more pressure. Plus its alot easier to move a single hose than it is to run two hoses together. either will work though .
