It's impossible to answer your question because there are too many variables. It can depend on how you have your dredge sluice setup, it can depend on how fast you run your motor. It can depend on exactly where you put your nozzle, and how deep you dredge. You could be 1 foot away from nuggets, or you could be a mile away. There may be no nuggets. Most rivers and creeks DON'T have nuggets and flakes is all you can recover.

Don't limit yourself to on area of the water. Dredge test holes from one side to the other, panning out after each hole. run test holes every hundred yards up and down the river as far as you can. You never know where the pockets might be.
