Canadian suction dredging?

I've been watching or reviewing Canadian prospecting videos and it seems that they all are panning or high-banking. Haven't yet seen a single dredge video. What's up? Or is it my search parameters aren't correct.

It used to be and probably still is that river sluices are prohibited in British Columbia*. Other parts of Canada probably follow suit...a dredge needs a sluice so.....


*I originally garnered this info from a very popular but now closed Canadian gold forum, GPEX. It's founder passed and apparently no one was willing to maintain the site. Too bad as it was a favorite of mine.
