Anyone ever manage drywashing in the high cascades?

I seriously doubt it, unless you're talking out in the desert like
areas near Yakima.

All the snow (and snow melt) is going to keep that dirt damp
year around. Only thing I cold think of would be to dig it and then
spread it out on a tarp in the sun for a couple days.

I dunno about the Cascades but I've run dirt thru a puffer in the CO Rockies. Had to put the dirt though 5-6 times to get it dry (not as hard as that sounds) but it worked. I caught very fine gold too.

What am I saying? Try it!!
