This is everything I dug today.
Mixed history site.
Hunting for about 4 hours in the rain the whole, time.
Screw caps sound warbly vs coins.
There is a button in the pic, it was deep like garret propointer length deep plus 1.5"
Gotta hear the Nox on deep undisturbed target.
Button is real thin with design I have never seen before, I hit with shovel too.
Used park 2 sens 23 speed 6, 0 iron bias.
I like this detector.
Almost all of these coins detected on edge.
Did take a shot at a few nickel signals, did mange to find just one.
Tab and ring on edge in the ground gave a rock solid 13 ID.

Little closer look at the button and silver.
Button has design only on edges loop missing.

Congrats on your silver's on a rainy day. Nice to see that EQ coming through! I've been noticing a lot of small items detected fairly deep. Impressive.

Very nice day! How did the half sound? Someone on another forum was saying the Nox wasn't very good on big silver, but I don't know if that's just more unsubstantiated mumbo jumbo or what. Thanks!

Hillanddale, I will be doing just that with an AT Pro, Nox 800, Tesoro Vaquero and XP Deus with real live undug not planted targets in precisely 30 days! Won't video it however. I found out I can video or dig, but not both at the same time!

Thanks, I will be watching from a distance. :)

Seems to me that if this machine was better they ( Minelab ) would simply show the public where it excels. All pre-release showings and claims should not be taken seriously as those are based off a different machine configuration than the final product.

We shall see if it is the EDSELNOX or not.

The Equinox is very good.
I don't use bummer detectors.
Got better things to do with my time.
Tell you anything?

Besides leaving all 3 of my Deus units at home today when I left to go detect.
And all my others too.

You said you were going to do some head-to-head comparisons. What detectors are you referring to as " bummer " ?

What detector(s) are you referring to as bummers.
I am satisfied, seems you are not.

Comparison data, you want some, standby.
Will be posted here in a few minutes.

I think he wanted to know which machines you thought were inferior to the new one. Not a chart.

I was asking for head -to- head comparisons that you promised. . I'll be watching from a distance to see what you have.

I stated I don't do videos. And I still don't.
Can't post comparison data in this subforum anyhow.

Hillandale your asking a lot of some who has just got a brand new machine, who no doubt is still learning it, let the guy make his finds and an educated guess at weather he thinks another machine would find it . At this rate sharpshooter is going to need a pack mule and a film crew to document the finds.

Wikepedia-
[ Edsel is an automobile marque that was planned, developed, and manufactured by the Ford Motor Company for model years 1958–1960. With the Edsel, Ford had expected to make significant inroads into the market share of both General Motors and Chrysler and close the gap between itself and GM in the domestic American automotive market. Ford invested heavily in a yearlong teaser campaign leading consumers to believe that the Edsel was the car of the future – an expectation it failed to meet. After it was unveiled to the public, it was considered to be unattractive, overpriced, and overhyped. ]

May meet some of this criteria. I won't make any claims as of now because there has not been enough performance shown to base an opinion. Some have made claims as to it's greatness. We shall see.

First, I think it would be very cool to own a Edsel today. Otherwise, hillanddale, why so bitter sounding toward a machine you haven't used? You somehow sound "threatened" by it. Just what detector are YOU currently using?

I see you own the deus to .

Screw caps sound warbly vs coins.

So you are saying the nox nails bottle / crown caps ? My deus is not so good on crown caps . The only thing I am having problems with . Any news on the price of the 6 inch coil yet ?
