Is anyone else having problems with charging their headphones?

And just to let everyone know it was my iPhone that was messing things up. Thank you to tjarrett and vferrari for the great tip of putting it in airplane mode it worked like clock work. That’s why I always ask no matter how foolish I feel.

Wireless headphone problem!!!

No charge! No red lights blinking ! Higher temperature after few minutes 36,7 celsius !!!

Let's see if minelabs will replace with new one.

Buy this unity 6 months ago I think.

Not much use to happen this.

Someone here have the same problem?

Did you clean the contacts with stick tape. Mine get clogged up all the time with black sand. Simple masking tape cleans mine up.

Are you referring to the wireless headphones which use a standard micro USB connector or the propretary magnetic charging connection on the detector and wireless module that atteacts iron particles from black sand? Because, he's talking about the non-magnetic headphone charging port which really should not be collecting debris unless someone is constantly throwing their headphones in the sand.

Sometimes, the USB connector on the wireless headphones breaks internally (not the most robust design). Definitely contact ML and get a replacement pair under warranty. And if they are heating up, that could be a sign of a lithium battery failure, so stop attempting to charge them or you could start a nasty little fire.
