Dog eat a penny?

Well, I found out an unfortunate new reading on the Equinox 800 on beach mode 1 at the beach today. Apparently dog $#!% rings up at 20 on the VDI, or at least this one did. Thank god I stuck the pinpointer in the sand to find the target rather than kick the sand with my foot, or worse try to sift through it with my hand. I wasn't about to find out if there was a penny in there. But maybe it was a fat gold ring? We'll never know.
