I recently updated my EQ800 to the latest version software. I have noticed that wheat cents and earlier memorial cents are ringing in much higher than they did previously. They are even hitting into the low 30's now. The only other thing that has changed was that I had to get a new coil. Is it the software doing this? I can't imagine changing the coil would cause it?

I dont see any change to VDIs. I have had a few wheaties hit as high as quarters before the updates, but its not the normal.

Just a fluke I guess? Or maybe my current ground conditions...I dunno. I don't mind though, as the EQ is still hitting hard on the copper pennies.

I have noticed the VDI reading higher for copper pennies as well. Dug a few 28's that ended up being pennies, my dad as well on my other Nox, both in F2 all metal.
