Detektat nÄgot i sverige?
Ha de gött?

Tja!

*grin* There has not really been much chat on the laws now. :tongue3:

And my danish in written form is not the best either else I'd translate it.

Now if I get it right then the beaches can be detected without permission else you only need ok from the landowner.

Good Hunting!

Try to find a Norwegian, I am not familiar with their laws.
Under Commercial links a Norwegian posted, PM him or use the email on his link.

Sorry for necro-posting but i just joined the forum.

Danish law regarding "hittegods" (stuff found belonging to others) states that anything found belonging to others REGARDLESS of value should be delivered to the nearest police station. I saw a program where the intewiever asked the policeman regarding this rule, if a paperclip should be returned to the policesstation under that rule and he replied grinning: "yes by law it should be " but also said that in practice the police would laugh at this if done.
Seems to me the law was made so rigid so that they can reclaim ANY stuff found without anyone claiming it was "small potatoes".
In my opinion you would be safe with newer individual coins but not with hoards. Jewelry made of silver "should" be returned.
remember that anything from before 100 years ago still belongs to the state under the law of "danefĂŠ" and anything younger is "hittegods"

So to sum up: the law states: anything should be returned but they might let you keep it when you do. and if you dont they can punish you according to law.
we have strict laws but "weak" enforcement. hope it makes sence.
