congrats !
See the new Commercial on TV yet ?
Bunch of young girls Dancing & Singing
"If you smoke you might take your Life
But if you don't you might beat your wife"
According to the New York Times in 1998 one tabacco executive said knows what you would turn to if you didn't smoke maybe you'd beat your wife
If you smoke it might take you life,
but if you dont you might beat your wife.
Maybe ciggarettes have more nicotine
so there can be more hugs and kisses.
I guess they made it so hard for guys to quit
so you won't wail on the misses.
If you smoke it might take you life,
but if you dont you might beat your wife.
What's that about ?
discriminate out Spike TV and American Diggers !

AFT
A = About
You figure out the rest.
Now it's time to get rid of all ashtrays, matches, lighters, and any other paraphernalia...and I don't mean putting them in another area of the house...bag them up and drop into the trash.
Don't give to charity...it only contributes to someone elses habit...
And now go out into the garage and patio and repeat the cleaning process...
Being a diabetic, you can't suck on candy or other sweets...and refrain from eating or drinking to squelch the need for comfort...
Sew your shirt pockets closed...
Clean out your car ashtrays...
You guessed it correctly, I was in your shoes several years ago...
ps Found carrots worked wonders, however Cristina couldn't put with the bunny farts and breath

Re: no mas
Way to go aa! I was smoking over 2 packs a day for years and years. I quit on 12/19/2006 at 4:30AM. I have no idea when I smoked the first one but I sure as heck know when I had my last. I thought I'd never be able to quit but I don't miss it a bit.

Re: no mas
I am SO DANG PROUD OF YOU AA!
Now dont you go and ruin it by picking one up! You'll hate that you ever did. Right now, while your thinking about, crab a piece of paper, and write down exactly how they made you feel, coughing, out of breath, ect, ect. and put that lil piece of paper in your pocket and everytime you get the urge, take that lil piece of paper out and read it! Its a reminder

Trouble is... now you're gonna have a bunch of extra disposable income that you have to figure out how to spend.

I hope you have an understanding wife...
You will need something to keep your hands busy during the 'tough' times.
Good Luck: I've been free for 8 years, 11 months, 2 weeks 3 days, 9 hours and 33 seconds 34 seconds 35 seconds...
It can be done!

Re: no mas
I used the Chantix prescription thing. I guess there have been some people reacting negatively to Chantix (including suicidal tendancies) but they didn't effect me at all except for helping me quit. It will soon be 2 years and I don't have any cravings at all. Over the 2 years there were a few times I thought they smelled good but, a few seconds after those thoughts, I forgot all about them.

The value will increase with judicious cleaning."
