I always wanted to get into Newgrange for the winter solstice, to see the sun shine throught tje kerbstone into the quartz lined chamber. They have a lottery to select who can get in, and I was never lucky enough to be selected. Imagine that Newgrange was built before the great pyramid in Egypt, and aligned so precisly. I have been there at other times, and I find ot fascinating.
The only ones for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the sky.

NP Sherm. It's amazing to me that ancient man could make such precise astrological observations with nothing but the nakes eye. Have a great solstice!

did you know that in esoteric philosophy blue is the true and sacred color of the sun? yup.
I wonder if any treasure hunters took advantage of the morning solstice sun (weather permitting) for additional signs/markers?
Newgrange would be an awesome experience!!!!
