Every now and then I spot something on our local NZ, online Trading site, trademe, which I feel might be of interest to our overseas TreasureNet mates.
I just spotted this auction for plates from every USA State.
I have absolutely no connection with the Trader selling them.

The Kiwi Dollar is US$0.74 last I heard.

Buy em if you want. Some of them are older issue. We haven't used that plate in Oklahoma since, well, 1978 I guess. I believe it was issued in Canadian County. Used to you could tell by the letters what county they came from. The Colorado plate isn't any different in design than the one I have now.

We have two styles in Ohio, and that ugly one in the picture is still used on some vehicles. It would still be neat in a garage, for the right price. My wife would kill me if I bought them because our Garage barely has room for vehicles as it is, I collect a lot.

Now that you mention it Jeff, I notice a few more like that. They would be a great deal for a car thief.

Nice to have them... but 950?? Even it is US$0.74. Believe it or not, but You can get full sets in the bay over here for about 250 Euros. Thats around US$400. We have lots of collectors of US plates here. For myself i buy sometimes a plate or two if i can get them for under 5 Euros included shipping. I take only older plates which are some kind of rare here. Truck, traveltrailer, personal plates...
Anybody interested in German Plates??? :tongue3:
