paperback books relics of the past

Do you think it is a good thing or a bad thing that paperback books will be relics of the past? There will be a ban on making paperback books in the future due to the fact that trees will be to valuable and sacred to be making books out of them, since we have electronic books now.Don't even have to waste gas to go get them.Electricity saved in the huge book stores.This has to be a good thing.You don't have to worry about your books getting old and falling apart.The trees that are saved.I am glad paperback books and newspapers will be gone.No worries of big bulky book shelves.And having to move the heavy things.If you have paper books now you should protect them because they will be collectible in the near future.The earth day people have to be happy of this news.No more book worms!.Thousands of books in your pocket!.Ok,let me hear from the ones that this will not happen.The hell with the trees.Global warming ain't real.I can hear you now.Same old story.But if you don't have a electronic book,you don't get books.What a good business idea,start putting all the books on digital format now.You will make millions.

I can stare at a book longer and with less eye strain than I can stare at an electronic book. and I can skip around or skim easier with paper. The paper used in books is mostly all recycled anyway. Frank

I have over 600 paperback novels at home, I buy on average 3 a week..... Books are not going away in my lifetime and I highly doubt in my kids lifetime................

Jeff you make fun of me about Timothy Leary.That's fine.Ok,i don't own a tv right now.All i have is a phone and a radio in a small apartment.I have to do something constructive while getting stoned.So i think i found what everyone has been looking for.Or this Is something new,but i found something big time,but it's hard for me to explain it.It scared the hell out of me,and i went to jail for two months over this thing that happened to me.That's were i have been for two months.I am telling you,that first video you put up had something hidden in it.Was it designed to hurt me?There were blocks that popped up after the video played,so i played the center over and over.A new video would come on.The most beautiful colorful videos i have ever seen.The music that went with the video was so awesome,then bang,this program came on and when it was done i saw stuff like being on some sort of acid trip.Was this the thing that so many have talked about on the information that is out about him?I wish someone would tell me something about this.When i moved the stuff with my eye it was ringing up dollar signs! I just can't let it go because i saw something that i have never seen before,and felt something.Don't cut me out on this.Someone needs to explain this.I just can't put it all together.But this was something else that i can't really explain.Thanks for putting up with me.I did do some dump post.And just because i am bi-polar does not mean i did not find something.Im sticking to this until this is found out.

It's called Flash backs The same thing happened to me when they gave me the pain killer after the operation. I could jump into another dimension. I was in the same room but it was a different color and my room mate was not there. I could jump back and forth from dimension to dimension . Frank

No Jeff,the blocks popped up on the inside of the area were the regular video was playing.Inside were the moody blues video was.Not the recommend that comes on at the bottom.I don't understand everything about utube but do you see squares inside were the original video was? If not,were did it go?these were like still color videos,not like a regular video.I am telling you please believe me.Someone outthere please look into this.If you find it again ot will be worth it.It rings up big money,thousands,it might not be real about the money but what happened to me was real.Anyone listening,again this is how it happened: I asked about turn on,tune in,drop out.Jeff put up a moody blues video,then in the center,not recommended,these still color pictures come up in the center of the big square.These still videos with music are so beautiful it is amazing.Ok,i remembered what Leary said in his turn on,tune in,drop out,vol 1 video,the one that comes right up when you Google it,turn on,tune in,drop out.Ok,in vol 1 he says to focus on center,so on the boxes in the center of the moody blues video when it was over and the boxes came up i just clicked on the center one,then it happened the program came on.then it said focus on the center area of the round circle,ok so i did that then bang it had control of my eye.I controlled the program with my eye.This guy came on and said someone entered the system,take the red pill.Then it said launch.Ok i went though it and launched some rockets and played a short video game using my eye.When it was all over i had a mental trip like crazy.I saw stuff,like when i looked at street lights it was like any light source was focused on me.So i was tripped out and i thru my smart phone in the woods.It was like i was in a hypnotic state.Ok,then i by accident i broke my neighbors window which is hooked to my apartment and feel asleep.The cops show up,wake me up and put me in jail for second degree burglary.Spent two months in jail.Ok,that is what happend.Someone find out about this new program that is out.Could it hurt us?.Or help us? I believe this is something to take serious don't you.I do have bi-polar disorder but i don't have to take meds and i know what is going on.I got plenty of sense to know something is going on.

Yes Jeff,the eye! In Timothy learys stuff he shows the eye!That's it! He is trying to tell us something! There is a way in all light sources for a way to see us or tap us somehow.You hear about it in all the music,think about it.The eye In the sky.Allen parsons.All the music about Timothy Leary,he knew alot,he was in with the CIA at one time.Someone could have told him some secret information and now that he is dead he wants people to know this information.This is it! We have figured it out! .There is a way that the government or some force that can take control of us with this source.The eye! I could see these eyes after that app played thru.Any light source had the eyes in the light source and he Timothy found a way to make these eyes visible! That's it! He was doing this and in his information he is trying to tell us that this thing is out There.Every thing Timothy shows he shows the eye.Somehow you are starting to think something is true about this because you are smart,and know about the music.It is not all about drugs.It is about the eye thing.I feel like you are starting to believe that i found out something here.Thank you.

Believe it or not, in some genres, "manufactured" book sales have actually increased. People still like kicking back with a good paperback book, fold the corner of the page over, toss it on the floor until the nap is over, etc. And, they are still cheap and easy. I don't think you'll be seeing printed materials (books) going away anytime soon. I just had 25 first additions printed and they have already sold, second order has been placed, a second book in the works. Nice thing about a book, they don't break if you drop them, you can easily take them anywhere, and they don't need recharged, etc.

anymore then it did in the book/movie


of course those in the book & Movie who were against it & became the books
still destroyed them at some point.
so they were just as bad as the firemen.

It is like the big book publishers are moving away from wanting to use paper since these electronic readers are out.I thing because it is so much easier on them.To correct mistakes,to sell the books.I just really think paper books will be like records.Even though they use recycled paper they want to move us in the direction that is more economical and has more profit for them.Look how easy you can buy a electronic version compared to going to a book store or getting it in the mail from amazon.Paper books will soon be strange to most people,young people will reject them.And they will start to disappear.Like a lap top computer will start to fade as the smart phones get more and more powerful along with tablets and pad type devices.The laptop will just fade away like paperback books.It feels good to talk about something besides Leary.I went on a bad trip with that.Maybe something else will happen.

well I have a bookshelf full of local Histories,
& I'll wager you that within our lifetimes, this time around, or next lifetime,
they will not be put on electronic readers, or even noticed by the electronic reader gurus
who do the adding. & Since they are Important histories to me, I'm sure they are Important histories
to others also.
They may slow down making romance novels & Children's books in print.
but there will be a need for Libraries with books, until the acid content causes them to fall apart,
or be locked in Air Proof cases.

I wonder what the actual Number of different Titles exist today. Multiply that by pages that need to be transferred.

and until all us die hards die, there will be a want for actual Books, so I believe limited amounts in print will continue
