I understand one is a obsolete term. One being a acute reaction to stress of battle the other to psychological trauma. My question what are the stats. of ww2 to today's war's. Are we experiencing more now because the way we fight them.? Most battles in ww2 were to win at all cost's Now it seems we must be selective in the way we fight. with fear of reprimand I would contend this would bring on more stress. Which could be con screwed as psychological trauma. So are the powers to be the problem?

comparing IED"s to land mines is not in this question.
