This is a Cigar Box Guitar and matching amp I made using consecutive numbered "My Father Cigars" cigar boxes.
The amp is finished and sounds awesome but I'm still working on the guitar.
I have to cut a nut and make a bridge plus install pickups and electronics as well as give the neck a coat of lacquer or?
The neck I made from hard rock maple and the FB curly maple. Accurate scale length of 25" think dobro.
I did take the time and installed a truss rod to make the neck adjustable for the future.
Hope you guys like it!

:hello2:

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Is drooling one of the 7 sins?

No. No it isn't. What may be a sin is WHY you are drooling.
(Psychology and a bit of theology.)

Um......

What model piano is that, may I ask? Beautiful Walnut!
With a Seth Thomas on top!
Very nice!
(Does it run? I know of horology.)

By the way...

BEAUTIFUL FLOORING!

Be Well my Friend,

Scott

Is there a "Music/Musician" thread on this website?
No?

Perhaps it might be a popular thread!

I'll have to look and see for that after I find....

Dang! Forgot what I was looking for! :icon_scratch:

Hmmmm...

Hope all have a GREAT WEEKEND!

Best,

Scott

Folks,

Here's a street musician's version of Stairway to Heaven by Valter Tessaris.

Immediately, I think of Tommy Emmanuel.

Thanks for the tune!

Best,

Scott

PS.

Ever hear of Stanley Jordan?

Yeah, Go FULL SCREEN to be amazed!

Hmm....

Just got a message from another little website that I peruse upon occasion.
From Elena...

"Sounds kinda hot, ya think? Sure beats my cousin for a date. After Aunties funeral...."

~~~"Ya know, I find that what folks find as funny is what is known as 'Humanism.'
But, that's a topic for another time, Right? Git 'Er Done!"~~~
http://colnect.com/en
The message was about a "Specialty" type collectible that I had posted concerning "match-flaps" and boxes...
I was contacted with this opening:
Hello AU24K,
you were interested in adding
the Match labels/boxes collectible category to Colnect catalog. Now the work on creating this category has been continued. Would you like to join us?
icon_smile.gif
Best wishes,
Elena
I replied thus:
Alas my friend, I have few entries and less knowledge.
I have some match flaps that I can send to you to offer as prizes towards the topic!
As a youth, I once had quite a collection! 3-4 cigar boxes full from diners, gas stations and grocery stores from all over America.
Hope you are well and successful in your endeavors!
Please keep me updated on your progress!
Warmest Wishes,
Scott
Ry Cooder did most of the soundtrack, Steve Vai .... is the guitar god, playing the Devil's guitarist..
WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes Steve actually dropped the guitar, as seen in the movie, it had to be fixed and is in the R & R hall of fame, or hard rock hotel? Jackson is making a few of those guitars, and they are expensive and sold out!! http://www.mattsmusic.com/JAX9912-prod.html repros, . Jackson is one of thee best rock guitars, the compound radius fingerboard is one of the reasons.
The 17 minutes fly by.....
