so did Lincoln

Ole John Parker.

Yep. Knew him. A "lay-about' and frequent alchoholic.

Ummm... I mean that I read about him. Ha ha. Like I'm THAT old...

Move along, nothing to see here.....

Best,

Scott

OK.
Here's a Wiki item on Ole Johnny boy....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Frederick_Parker

Seems like I might be able to add a bit to this.

How would one do this?

I SAID that I'm not that old, it would be from what I've read and learned.....

SURE, you old fart!
You're old enough to tell us why the dinosaurs went extinct!

Ok.
I'll tell you that story....

Pull up a chair.....

And we all know they have no biz being on this red blooded American thread!!
Using my appointed authority as Assistant to Music,
I offer this in an attempt to quash a looming US/Canadian disagreement.....

As a point of reference,
I was part of the lighting crew (right spotlight) of the University of Kansas's Theater presentatation of "Annie Get Your Gun."

I'm guessing about 1976? :icon_scratch:

The cast and crew sang this between rehearsals,
"I've no business in show business, no business at all. Everything about it is appalling," etc.

Best,

Scott

Preperations that you have made.

Financial? Who's gonna get the loot that you've amassed?

Who's gonna get your valuables? Minus probate costs?

My Friends, if your knowledge is passed on, that is your greatest asset, and then, well,
You are one of AU24K's biggest heroes! :hello2:

A lot of angry talk is in the news, pitting one against the other, in terms not seen since the Civil War.
But, to keep from making a political statement,
I only wish for you to help a child in need.

If you really think about it, you can think of a child who needs YOUR imput!

We are ALL Americans and we should treat each other as Family.
Don't you Agree, my Brothers and Sisters?

Same goes for America's Friends.....

Best,

Scott

Thanks for the words Scott. ..well said, :)
