Oh wait, that was before you actually knew you were going to ask it.

My baby sister was murdered in the house I spent my childhood in in 1986. She was 14 years old. This happened in 1986. I of course was out of the country. The case went cold. Some of what a psychic said turned out to be true. He was found and convicted in 2001. The first DNA case in Florida. He didn't get the death penalty but he got life without parole.

Yeah bud that,s an awful but real nightmare. I,m not big on physics. Nothing against them but they see things different than me .Ability to predict winning lotto numbers for example. Very different that seeing an event true but hey .

Thanks everybody. Has anyone ever heard of Jeff Ashton? He was the prosecutor in the Casey Anthony case. He was also the prosecutor that put this monster behind bars.

Friends,

I had to go WAY BACK,
To find the song that my Grandmother used to play for me,
and we'd sing together,
On her wind-up Victrola,
When I felt down.....

To express my thanks for replies and well wishes from my Friends,
During my, "ahem"
"Full-on" stress of academia.....
I hope that I've offended no one.....

------------------------------------------------

I realize that this is my final stretch for the semester,
Only about a month left,
And,
By the abilities that I still have,
I'll finish this semester.
How?

By doubling down on my efforts, maybe barely passing,
But, will look forward to and savor the time that I'll reward myself by spending in my Mountains!

I missed going for my annual Christmas and New Years trips,
And,

Well,
I haven't been embraced by Nature since last Thanksgiving....

Ooopps....
Crap!
I think I still have to finish that narrative on the camping thread of mine from Thanksgiving!

------------------------------------------

Anyway,
Guess I'll pick up a few tomato plants and pepper plants tomorrow and see if I can grow anything.

Landlord is away racing this weekend and
I'm to look in on the girls.
Good!

Haven't seen Alice and Olive for a minute or two....
10-IMG_0586.JPG
Alice is a bit "shy," but such a lover girl!

Olive?
She's a "hider."
---------

He also pointed out about a dozen bags of mulch he picked up and assumes I know what that means....
The beds that I did plantings in last year for him.

Best.
Landlord.
EVER!
:notworthy:

Looks like the "roller-coaster" is on the up-swing....:dontknow:

Wonder if it might have to do with outside chores? :icon_scratch:

Speaking of outdoor chores and such,
I "relocated" soil from elsewhere in the back yard to the burned out pit of my nemesis,
THE STUMP!
I packed the soil, raked it over smooth and will request some grass seed from my Landlord.

---------------
OH!!!
I Almost Forgot....

I've got 3 slides ready for my Geology Presentation....
(If I can figure it out, I'll post the slides here.....)

Guess I'll git with that some more this weekend, also!
I'm thinking about 9-10 more slides?
(I might sneak in one with just a bit more specific info than the Professor may know of,
JUST to see if She's paying attention....)

Reminds me of a story.....
moldable.gif
"No! Not another story!"

--------------

I once was hired by an outfit that manufactures automobile car carriers.
cottrell.jpg

My job was maintenance on the various lathes, laser cutters, stamp-punches, welders, etc.

Much of this machinery was new to me,
But,
With such a mechanical mind,
I set about learning all I could about the job.
Soon, I was the one that Department Heads requested....

After my 90 Day "New-Employee Evaluation" time came about,
I was called into the Supervisors office for my evaluation.

The Boss said that he liked my attendance,
My willingness to go on maintenance requests and my "over-all attitude."
However, He couldn't recommend me for a raise.

OK.

Here's another attitude....

I looked the boss, square in the eye,
and,
with a clear, slow, enunciated voice,

I said,
"An evaluation isn't only one sided.
I have input for you...."

"I've really enjoyed working here, learning new things, making new Friends,
And,

I really just don't see how you can do it all,

But,
Starting tomorrow, your ass will do it without me."

Security was immediately summoned and I was escorted to pick up my tool chest,
And then from the property.

Screw 'em.
Cheapskates....

End of Story.....

-----------------

Helped my locksmith Friend today,
I made keys for a travel trailer bigger than my apartment,
An ignition for a scooter, and I'm in the middle of breaking down an ignition for a fast-looking little bike.

I'll try to remember to take my camera and snap some pics on Monday,
As I finish, of how I keep my hands and mind busy.....
-----------------

Hope All are Well and Happy.

My Best Wishes for a Great Weekend for my Friends!

Always,

Scott

PS.

Special shout-out to my Brother, 2GF.

Thanks, Brother!

Love Ya, Man!

My Goal is within reach!

PS.
Mega Internet points to anyone who can attribute this quote:

"I don't want to lead.
I don't want to follow.
But, If you want to go, let's ride."

{obscure quote?}

(False clue. Dig harder.....)

"Ride "
With "Mustang Sally?"

Surely another false clue....
A Sweet diversion, though,
None the less........

Have we no "Players of Trivia?"

Bring it.

What's your forte? Music?

What Genre?
Heh, heh...

A "Friendly Challenge" for my Friends......

OK, Let's have a go, shall we?

Anyone?

Here's one.....

We've all heard Van Halen's version of this...
Well, OK, David Lee Roth.....Whatever....

Name an artist who performed this from 1923-1938.
[Answer soon....]

No Googling,
From your memory banks only.....

I've NEVER lost at Trivial Pursuit.

Winters were long and cold in Kansas growing up.....

I read many books, and learned many things,
My pocket transistor radio was my best friend.....
I learned.
Especially all about locks.....

OK.
Another quick story.....

When my LAST wife had me arrested,
For the LAST TIME(!)
For being stupid enough to try to pick up my belongings,

She made sure that they (Cops)
knew of my locksmith prowess.
I was checked every 3-5 minutes while wearing jewelry from ACE Hardware.....
(I was a "good ole Boy." "Nobody needs to be shot here today, Boss." Been there, no fun.Trust me......)

Another "False clue?"

Or,

Perhaps.....

Have I said too much?

Do you think less of me?

Why?

------------------

"The Quotes are attributable, man!

Quickly!
Do you not perceive the success of timing?
Surely you know!
It's too plain!"

sherlock5.png
(False clue? For you to decipher......)

I digress....
Forgive me.

Best,

Scott

Perhaps this tripe?"

Damn kids will be kids, especially about College.....
I know of such things......
