We'll update to old thread. Me and the old lady finally split up after I found out she cheated again while she supposedly wanted to work **** out. Some women are just ignorant and don't know a good thing when they have it.

Why "DID SHE" SHUT YOUR PHONE OFF? Don't get me wrong but I reread your posting and you said you were in law enforcement for 5 years?

If "SHE" SHUT YOUR PHONE OFF, it seems to appear she has control over you and YOU ARE NOT MANNING UP and YOU ARE LETTING HER GET AWAY WITH IT!!

You know the old saying, "Give someone an inch and they take a mile"? No offense, but it seems that you need quite a bit of growing up to do!

I know this is a public forum and there is nothing wrong with asking for advice from people you don't even know, but if you are going to put all your problems and laundry out there and keep allowing and getting walked and stepped on by your wife by her TRYING to make you feel guilty, then the only answer anyone can say is, "You asked for it, you put up with it, you deserve it!"

Kind of like someone keeps burning themselves with matches, sooner or later they are going to go up in flames!

Take my advice;

1. GROW UP AND TAKE CHARGE!

2. GET ALL THE EVIDENCE AND PROOF OF HER WRONG DOINGS!

3. FILE FOR DIVORCE, THEN KICK HER A$$ OUT!

4. THINK ABOUT YOUR LIFE WITH YOUR KIDS AND YOUR WIFE NOT EVEN IN IT!

5. KEEP YOUR SANITY!!

6. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, READ MY LAST POSTING AND TAKE ADVICE FROM THERE AS WELL!

7. GOOD LUCK!

P.S. ONCE A CHEATER WILL ALWAYS BE A CHEATER!!! THAT MY FRIEND WILL NEVER CHANGE!

^^^^^^^ This is the best advice anyone has given you. You are in denial though and nobody can help you if you refuse to help yourself. The kids are NOT better off living in a house where there is no love. They learn from what they see as much as from what you tell them. Maybe even more. You need to make a plan for moving on without her and stick to it. Does this other guy have a wife ? Man you have WAY more tolerance for complete betrayal than I would. If it was me every bit of her stuff would have been loaded up and dropped off at the other guys house while she's at work. Done ! See ya. I did read that you have split up but from all of your prior comments I have to wonder if it's permanent and you really have finally had enough. Who has the kids ?

Lest anyone think I am just a wimp, as evil as it sounds, I would say it might not hurt to hope that she dies in a flaming, drunken car wreck while running around with these guys. Heh, heh.

I also spend a lot of time on a message board whose title includes the words Don't get married. As long as the system forces me to tell you that if you can, ignore your wife's adultery, because it's the only way you can protect your kids, no sane man should consider getting married in the USA. The divorce rate is 40% for first marriages, and a 40% possibility that your kids will be raised without you, with high chances they become druggies or convicts, is simply not tolerable.

I see this is an old post but just wanted to put this on the record if someone needs it in the Future ---- Long story But I was faced with the same situation WHILE SHE IS STILL HOT FOR BUBA Get her to give you FULL custody OF THE KIDS EVEN BEFORE THE DIVORCE ACTION LET HER GO WITH BUBA , WHEN THE LUSTER WEARS OFF , SHE WILL WANT THE KIDS BUT YOU WILL HAVE THE LEGAL DOCUMENT WHEN YOU FILE JUST SAY THERE IS A EXISTING CUSTODY AGREEMENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHEN SHE SIGNS GET IT NOTERIZED ---- worked FOR ME 6 months later when we filed , my lawyer just said there was an existing custody agreement ---------- end of story DAD won

and do not "trash talk" about the ex to the kids -- the kids know the deal without you have to "grind it in their faces " be a better man rather than a "bitter man" , you are free of her now so go live your life in peace and happiness as much as possible , but always remember your kids and treat them well because its not their fault "the marriage" failed ---and when "blame game " gets talked about well bottom line --YOU did choose poorly --so by your own poor choice , you did help cause the problem so pick wiser in the future.

I have grown up and yes was in law enforcement five years but the only reason I haven't left is because the kids. I don't want to see them unhappy. Which right now they don't see us fight or not get along but it's getting too close. Don't get me wrong only reason I posted this was to hear of anyone else with similar circumstances

You CAN NOT stay with someone for the kids! If it's not working it's not working! Now I know sometimes that's harder said than done, dude you have to leave!
