Yep, looks like the great Democratic Party of my youth has become the Commie Socialist Party of my old age. And a bunch of us old hippy types were hoping for a black Camelot...

Isn't it amazing how the Obama Administration can (and does) anything they want and gets away with it? Maybe it is because the press (i.e., MSNBC, etc.) doesn't report anything that reflects poorly upon Obama and his Administration. Such a shame...

And this is different than any other administration??

And what were the reasons bush got away with everything? Was the press in his pocket too?? You wouldn't think so, but they certainly bought WMD, Iraq, etc, etc hook line and sinker until we were already in too deep.

If love to see a few more parties in this country. I was excited for the tea party as I'm looking for fiscal conservatism. Bush soured me on the party as he spent like a drunken sailor and have out big new entitlements. I am also not a big fan of the social influence of the so called "religious right"bad I tend to be a social moderate. Hopefully the tea party can reorganize and get its act together. I also think the dems could split into 2 parties as a branch of them have def gone way too left for many of my so called liberal friends. I think some new competition would be good for all.

Nothing would get done, even worse then now. Too many opposing interests. Italy's problem is too many parties. If we stopped electing millionaires and those tied to the corporates we might get heard a bit. If I can find it I'll reference a great Wall Street Journal on just how badly our elected officials are in bed with the corporates. A Koch Bros dream.
The Tea Party is probably doomed to a PS in history as they never had a philosophy just an agenda. Few thoughts and no sense of history or economics behind any of them except "Stop spending"! Any economy is predicated on spending and borrowing. Otherwise it fails to produce an economy. They went to congress with one thought and it was wrong. Those that knew lacked the huevos to reign them in. Ya can't fix stupid.

Ah, but you can "fix an election". Ask what's his name, his IRS folks, Eric Holder, et al.

I'm sure you know BO's election wasn't fixed. If any election could have been fixed it would have been BO's. He had huge resistance. Problem for his enemies was BO was the best candidate. McCain was ok but not his running mate. And now there's talk of McCain possibly having problems. Possible dementia. Hope not, the Republicans need moderates to survive. Both of Bush's elections were questionable as far as being fixed or at least tampered with in Fla and Ohio. Even now BO's enemies are scrambling to find a way to get rid of him. I'm not sure why. I've seen worse. More respect should be shown for our system and it's process. The losers should bow out because the People spoke.

I love it when someone opens his mouth without knowing what he is saying! You go talk to a tea party person in person and see if they understand history or have a philosophy. You should open your mind once in awhile and stop watching msnbc.
