every veteran in the united states who ever went to the va has participated in socialized medicine...who pays for that...damnvets are all socialists.

if you are not social, you are anti social...duh...

No, every vet who ever went to the VA paid for it and earned it and was prepared to pay the ultimate price if asked.....They prepaid every single penny!

I dodged it too, 306 Bomb Wing B52 1967-1971 Flights over N&S VietNam, Cambodia and Laos...

Vets earned every single penny of VA benefits.

My brother died of Agent Orange exposure. Helicopter Pilot 3 tours Nam.

My father tail gunner B17 over Europe including Germany.

1 uncle Paratrooper on D-Day 101st.

Another uncle Marine on Batan Death March and war camps.

3rd uncle island hopping with Marines in Pacific..

4th uncle in Big Red 1 in Europe.

They all earned every single penny of their VA benefits.

Every single vet has earned their benefits including you....

Us vets for the most part are silent, but my blood pressure goes up when I hear someone hinting that they think veterans did not pay for the little bread crumbs that are being sprinkled out in our direction. We LOANED the federal government our lives, and in may cases we are no longer around to ask for repayment of that loan.

I'm slowly dying from my heavy exposure to Agent Orange. I was a combat helicopter pilot in Nam. Many of my fellow pilots are already dead.

I ask NOTHING of my government except maybe a little damned respect.

Eighty percent of doctors retiring is an absurd figure. There will be some who retire but Obamacare is not the only reason. There is an electronic health record initiative that many older doctors do not want to learn. There is a multi-year plan in place to force physicians to do it. That has a lot to do with it as well. Some doctors will go but they probably had one foot out the door and into retirement anyway.

What would I do if I left medicine? I'm not qualified to do too much else. The vast majority of doctors have spouses and children they need to support.

Hey Crispin!! Tell them about the 50 to 75 thousand dollars it takes to procure the software to interact with M-care in order to bill for services rendered and access to patients medical files!! What ever happened to HIPPA?? Then there is malpractice insurance and a 45 to 50 percent practice overhead for staff and facility!! I must have missed something somewhere!! VERDE!!

Crispin, numbers in articles says 6 out of 10, I have seen over 9 doctors either for me or my wife since I go to every one of her appointments in the last year under last years deductible and this years.... Not a single one had a single good thing to say about obamacare, not even one..... Every one of them said they are making plans to leave the profession or thinking serious about it when I asked, all due to obamacare.

Most of my doctors are middle age or older, I try real hard to not go to any young doctors.. I prefer a doctor with experience over an inexperienced doctor, and yes I know, 4 years college, 4 years medical school, residency, then practice. Well that don't mean squat to me, it is like an airline pilot, I would much rather be in a plane with a pilot 65 years old at the controls than one 25.........

Now also notice the red highlighted word in your quote..... Why in the heck is the government forcing doctors to do anything... The government does not belong in the health care business...... Why did my company health insurance go up $200 a month this year, because of obamacare....... Once again it is the take from some give to others, what was that called again. oh yeah, socialism.....

We will have "death panels", bean counters making medical decisions instead of doctors, you honestly think that is good? I know your field and I respect you and your profession, but that is not the field my concern lines in.

I am so fed up with the entire BS coming out of this administration now.....this country is on a dark road, there is a light coming straight at us and it isn't the light of enlightenment, is a train headed right at us and we headed for the biggest train wreak this country has ever seen..... Your kids and grand kids are going to pay the price for the catastrophic mistakes being made right now......

As it is 100% of the time –
The right uses those pesky items called facts and common sense and the” lost” use lies and personal feelings…………….It’s actually quite entertaining to read those comments from the lost. I do try my hardest to understand different people’s point of views; I just can’t have a true debate with insanity.

I can hardly wait for this monster called "Obamacare" fails, and it will. My personal doctor that I have had for 15 years is taking "early" retirement because of this fiasco! Now I am at the mercy of the "state".
