Folks,

Among my many interests and hobbies I also collect postage stamps. Managed to get some old stamps recently from Romania circa 1871-2 unfortunately the high value has a minor tear but given how hard they are to find I'll keep it as is.

Simon1, here is a screenshot of those cars I mentioned a couple hundred pages ago. :tongue3:

I couldn't go there, I'm grounded. After I googled it, I see it must be some sort of junk yard because there are rows and rows you can't see from this pic.

sorry it is so small, I'm technologically challenged. I think it gets bigger though.

I enlarged it and some really nice old vehicles there. I always think about the history behind them. I have some cars that I do not take out of the garage if rain, mist, or even fog is in the forecast. They are pampered now, but I look back and can picture the original owners driving them in any kind of weather as they were just a means of "Transportation" for them. I understand the need for transportation as my 4x4 is buried in the garage and so this winter I have been having to drive my Corvette in the snow. Not the best thing I've done, won't happen next winter.

I personally think the painting has a "Monty python" look to it.
Almost a humorous appeal / look.

AARC,

It's only 1 of 20 authenticated paintings that still survive accredited to Leonardo Da Vinci so a fairly good pedigree.
Although the buyer remained anonomous rumor has it that a Saudi Prince was the buyer.

Kind of makes the most expensive stamp look like chump change.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
